Employment Training Program

You can design your own training program (using private trainers or trainers through ETP) and get reimbursed by the state's Employment Training Panel if you meet the following criteria:

• Have 100 or fewer employees and
• Be a manufacturer or face out-of-state or international competition
• OR be in high unemployment areas where there are barriers to full-time stable employment

The reimbursement for approved training is $22 per hour. Each employee must receive between 8 to 60 hours of training. Training can be in business management skills, computer skills, continuous improvement, hazardous materials, commercial skills and manufacturing/production skills.
